About the author

Annapoorna Prabhu Sanoor was born and brought up in Mangalore. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science & Engineering from the University of Mysore, India. She enjoys cooking for her family and friends, and takes a keen interest in the history, traditions and culture of Mangalorean food. She lives in Singapore with her husband and two children.

She has written two cookery books:
MANGALORE COOKBOOK:Breakfast & Teatime Recipes
MANGALORE COOKBOOK, Volume Two:A Vegetarian Feast

Apart from her native cuisine, she is also interested in the food and cooking of other cultures and countries. You may browse through some of her recipes in her blog here.

BBC goodfood magazines, Asian Edition May and June 2015 respectively.
