Healthy and tasty time-pass snack !!!
SERVES 4 to 6
Ingredients
1 cup/180g shelled peanuts
¼ teaspoon vegetable oil
15-20 curry leaves, coarsely chopped
A pinch of turmeric powder
A pinch of asafoetida
Finely ground black peppercorns
Salt to taste
Method
- Place the peanuts, curry leaves and oil in a medium pan over medium-low heat and roast until done.
- Add the turmeric powder, asafoetida, ground peppercorns and salt. Mix.
- Remove from the heat. Let cool to room temperature.
- Serve or store in an airtight container until ready to eat.
