Here I have used coconut milk as an alternative to milk. The result is creamy and smooth and, despite having a noticeable coconut flavour, it is delicious!
4 tablespoons cocoa powder
Jaggery to taste
1 cup/250ml coconut milk
½ teaspoon ground green cardamoms
1. Place the cocoa powder, jaggery and 1 cup/250ml water in a saucepan and bring to a gentle boil, stirring occasionally. Let simmer until the jaggery dissolves.
2. Reduce the heat and stir in the coconut milk.
3. Once the mixture is hot, stir in the cardamoms and remove from the heat.
4. Pour into cups and serve hot.
