This juice is quite refreshing and full of the health-giving nutrients of tomatoes. When included in daily diet, it helps one to stay fit and healthy.
500g tomatoes, coarsely chopped
Salt to taste
1. Place the tomatoes with ½ cup/125ml water in a saucepan. Cover the pan and cook over medium-low heat for 10 to 15 minutes or until the tomatoes are pulpy. Remove from the heat and let cool to room temperature.
2. Transfer to an electric blender and blend until smooth. Pass the mixture through a sieve or strainer into 2 cups.
3. Stir in salt to taste. Serve immediately or refrigerate and serve chilled.
