Butter Corn

A quick, wholesome snack adored by children and adults alike. If desired, you can spice this up with red chilli powder, chaat masala, ground black peppercorns or your favourite spices and herbs.



2 cups/260g raw corn kernels
1 teaspoon unsalted butter
Salt to taste
Amchur powder or freshly squeezed lime juice to taste

1. Steam the corn kernels in a steamer (or pressure cooker) until tender.

2. Drain the corn kernels and while still warm, add the butter, salt, and amchur powder or lime juice. Toss to combine.

3. Serve immediately.
