Soursop Smoothie

Soursop is a spiny, green tropical fruit with a soft, creamy, sweet-and-sour flesh. When consumed in moderation, it is purported to offer a host of health benefits. The fruit tastes good by itself, but it is simply great in smoothies, milkshakes and such.

Serves 3
½ cup de-seeded soursop flesh
3 cups/750ml cold (refrigerated) milk
Brown sugar or jaggery (or any sweetener) to taste
Ice cubes to serve (optional)

1. Place the soursop flesh, milk and sugar or jaggery in an electric blender and blend until smooth.

2. Serve immediately with ice cubes (if using).
