Dried fruits Milkshake

This is a healthy and delicious beverage that will help you stay energized all day long. You may vary the proportions of the dried fruits to suit your taste.

Serves 4
Ingredients:

3 dried pitted dates, coarsely chopped
4 dried figs, coarsely chopped
3 tablespoons raisins
3 cups/750L cold (refrigerated) low-fat milk, plus more if needed

Method:
1. Pour 1 cup/250ml milk in a bowl. Add the dates, figs and raisins. Refrigerate for 1 hour or until the dried fruits soften.

2. Transfer to an electric blender. Blend until smooth, adding the remaining milk. You may dilute the milkshake by adding more cold milk if necessary.

3. Pour into 4 glasses and serve immediately.
